Christian history spans two thousand years. Still, the teachings and example of Jesus shine through the ancient texts like a beacon.

He told us to love each other! That's really all that we need to do.

John 13:34-35 New King James Version

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this will all know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Romans 13:8-10 New King James Version

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Love requires us to acknowledge that every person has value. When we follow the path of love, doors of insight open.

Acts of kindness become one of the most meaningful expressions of our faith.

1 Corinthians 13:13 New King James Version

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
